Pamela - Printmaker & Stationery Lover

My work is a celebration of Britain's ever-changing seasons, capturing the subtle nuances of nature's palette and the quiet moments that define our connection to the world around us.

Through Adventures in Print, I blend traditional printmaking techniques with modern methods, creating pieces that are both timeless and contemporary. Each design begins as a hand-drawn sketch, inspired by woodland wanderings and forest discoveries, before being meticulously carved into lino blocks.

My artwork seeks to evoke the comfort found in nature's rhythms and the joy of seasonal transitions. From the soft blossoms of spring to the rich hues of autumn, I strive to bring the outside world into homes and hearts, one print at a time.

  • All block prints start as an original drawing

    Hand Drawn

Pencil to paper is always how a project begins. Hand drawing helps visualise the lines to be carved from the lino block.

  • Using lino carving methods to create designs

    Traditional Methods

Each cut and gouge thoughtfully carved transforms a once plain lino block. Only after the lino has been printed is the design revealed.

  • Hand printing first allows for organic textures

    Authentic Textures

The difference in pressure and ink application during the relief printmaking process allows for a very real, natural and tactile variation in each design.
