Every design begins with a pencil and sketchbook. I capture the quiet detail of Norfolk’s hedgerows and cottage gardens, translating everyday blooms into bold, simple shapes.

Working in my tiny garden studio, I hand carve each design into lino. The resistance of the lino and the honest, primitive line of the blade gives every motif its unique texture and soul.

After the original lino block is carved and test-printed, I scan the print to layer it with rich, contemporary colour. This hybrid approach keeps every hand-carved mark intact while allowing me to print the finished designs onto eco-friendly cards and archival wall art.
