Upright Daisy Block Print

Upright Daisy Block Print

Pamela Haining
A quick block print this week. We’re coming to the end of the half-term holidays which has meant it’s been a week filled with days out and plenty of family time; not so much printmaking. This block design is loosely based on an upright daisy flower that I’ve carved from Essdee Mastercut lino, this is a super soft rubber-type lino block - perfect for hand printing onto fabric and stamping. I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do with this block yet, whether it’s for a textile project or perhaps one I’ll work into a repeating pattern.
