Inspired by wild poppies dancing along British countryside lanes during morning runs, this unique concertina-style greeting card unfolds to reveal a parade of beautiful blooms. Each poppy showcases the incredible diversity found in nature—from warm oranges and vibrant coral-reds to gentle pinks and deeper mauves.

The flowing linocut technique brings out the characteristic papery texture of poppy petals, while the concertina format allows the design to unfold dramatically—much like discovering these vibrant wildflowers during a countryside walk.

Every design begins as an original hand-carved lino block in my Norfolk studio shed before moving to my digital workspace, where I spend hours meticulously isolating carved lines and hand-painting intricate colour layers.
