Autumn Oak Leaves Linocut Art | A4 Art Print on Cotton Paper

Celebrate autumn's quiet transformation with this oak leaves linocut print, capturing the full spectrum of the season's colour palette. Inspired by daily walks beneath our doorstep oak tree here in Norfolk, this design showcases oak's distinctive lobed leaves and textured acorns as they transition through autumn - from lingering greens through warm olives and ambers to rich oranges and deep browns. Each acorn sits nestled among the foliage, some still clinging to stems, others ready to drop.

The original design was carefully hand-carved in my Norfolk studio, with every leaf vein and acorn cap cut by hand. The finished print is then digitally coloured to capture autumn's full seasonal palette whilst preserving all the texture and character of the original carving - those subtle irregularities that come from working with traditional printmaking tools.
