The morning glory flower (Ipomoea purpurea) is an ornamental plant, easily identifiable with its trumpet-shaped petals that unfurl in the morning sun and close in the afternoon. It is also the birth flower for September. It conveys messages of love, hope, renewal and resilience. Sometimes gifted to express romantic love or signify important friendships and connections. Featuring a modern linocut design and originally created using traditional relief printmaking techniques.
