The first brave blooms of the year. Those delicate nodding heads that push through frozen ground when everything else is still sleeping, proving that spring will come, even in January's darkness.

This original linocut design captures a cluster of snowdrops in their natural stance, bowing gently with sword-like leaves reaching upward in fresh greens and soft creams. Each line carved with care into linoleum in my Norfolk countryside studio using traditional printmaking techniques.

Snowdrops have always been the flower that begins everything. Humble, hopeful, utterly dependable. They ask for nothing, they simply arrive when we need them most.
