The first brave blooms of the year, reimagined. Those delicate nodding heads that push through frozen ground, here captured in twilight tones - as if glimpsed in a moonlit winter garden when the world has gone quiet and still.

This linocut design portrays a cluster of snowdrops in shadowy purples and soft mauves, their white petals luminous against the darkness. Each line carved with care into linoleum in my Norfolk countryside studio using traditional printmaking techniques.

Snowdrops bloom in the coldest, darkest months - perhaps they look most magical when seen by moonlight, standing brave against the winter night. Humble, hopeful, utterly dependable.
